As a photographer, there are few things that bring me as much joy as capturing the pure essence of a baby's personality in a photograph. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing Evan, an 8-month-old baby, in my studio for his milestone session. What made it even more special was the fact that I had also taken his newborn photos when he was just 2 weeks old.
As soon as Evan arrived, his bright eyes and toothless grin immediately stole my heart. He was full of energy and excitement, eager to explore the new environment around him. Despite his young age, Evan was already developing his own personality, and it was amazing to see how much he had grown and changed since our last session.
During the session, Evan kept me on my toes with his quick movements and contagious giggles. We sang songs, played with toys, and made silly faces to get him to smile and laugh. It was wonderful to see how much he had developed since our last session, and I was thrilled to capture his personality and spirit in each shot.
By the end of the session, Evan was starting to get a little tired, but we managed to capture so many beautiful shots that his parents will cherish for years to come. As they left my studio, I felt grateful for the opportunity to capture this special moment in Evan's life, and to have been able to document his growth from a tiny newborn to a happy and curious 8-month-old. It's moments like these that make me love my job as a photographer, and I can't wait to see what other surprises the next milestone session will bring.
