Newborn Photography

Newborn sessions are reserved by your due date — ideally during your second or third trimester. Once baby arrives, we photograph within the first 5–14 days, when newborns are sleepiest and curl naturally into those classic poses. Only a few newborn dates are held each month, so the earlier you reach out, the better.

Just baby and the essentials — I provide all the props, wraps, headbands, and backdrops. If there is something special like a small heirloom or outfit you'd love included you are welcome to bring it, but it is not necessary.

Newborn sessions are photographed exclusively in my private downtown Lodi studio. The studio is fully equipped with everything needed for your baby's session, including wraps, props, backdrops, and posing equipment, along with a comfortable family lounge, kitchenette, and private changing and feeding area.

Photographing newborns in studio allows me to maintain a warm, controlled environment and have everything I need close at hand for a safe, comfortable, and relaxed session for both baby and parents.

Newborn sessions have a $200 session fee, paid at booking to reserve your date. Images and products are purchased separately at your viewing and ordering appointment, with collections beginning at $575, which is also the minimum purchase requirement. About 7–10 days after your session, we'll sit down together for your viewing and ordering appointment, where you'll see your finished gallery for the first time and select your favorite images. I'll also personally help you choose any prints, wall art, or albums you'd love to enjoy in your home.
