Newborn baby Caeden, 11 days old, peacefully posed in neutral and earthy tones with cozy textures, baskets, wraps, and froggy pose details.

Caeden was just 11 days old for his newborn session, and he was absolutely perfect. Having photographed his mama just weeks earlier for her maternity session, it was such a joy to welcome this little guy into the studio and see their story come full circle. From baby bump to baby toes — it’s always a beautiful reminder of how quickly life changes and how important it is to preserve these early memories.

We styled Caeden’s session with earthy tones, cozy knits, and natural textures. The mix of soft greens, browns, and blues gave the gallery a warm and timeless feel that worked beautifully with his skin tone and delicate features. Caeden settled into each pose like a pro — from the classic froggy pose to being snugly wrapped and tucked into a little wooden bed.

He had just the right mix of sleepiness and subtle expressions that made each image special. One of my favorite setups was Caeden in the round basket with evergreen accents — a subtle nod to nature and new beginnings. And those tiny toes and squishy cheeks? Pure sweetness.

It’s sessions like this that highlight how meaningful newborn photography can be. That tiny face you’ve been dreaming of during your pregnancy is finally here, and these photos freeze that feeling forever. The best time for a newborn session is within the first 7–14 days, and Caeden’s session was a beautiful example of just how peaceful and magical that window can be.
