Sam’s one-year session was such a special milestone to photograph. As part of my baby plan, I’ve had the joy of capturing him at different stages during his first year, and it’s amazing to see how much he has grown. His sweet smile and curious personality shined through in every image, making this session full of joy and energy.
We started with some classic portraits in the studio, letting Sam explore props and practice his new standing skills. He looked adorable in his neutral outfit, which paired perfectly with the warm, earthy tones of the setup. After capturing plenty of sweet expressions, it was time for the cake smash. His custom balloon backdrop and soft color palette made the perfect setting for a fun, celebratory moment. Sam wasted no time digging into his cake, and his happy reactions made for some of my favorite images.
One-year sessions are such a great way to celebrate your baby’s first big milestone. They mark the end of the baby plan but the beginning of a whole new stage of discovery and adventure.
