Sage’s one-year milestone session was such a sweet way to celebrate her big first birthday. Watching little ones grow from tiny newborns into curious, playful toddlers is one of my favorite parts of being a Lodi baby photographer. By the time babies turn one, they’re full of personality, and Sage’s session was filled with giggles, smiles, and those unforgettable toddler expressions.
We started her session outdoors, where the golden tones of the grass made the perfect natural backdrop. Sage looked adorable in her outfits — a sweet white dress paired with little boots and a plaid dress that brought out her playful side. She explored, clapped, and showed off her growing independence, which made for the most genuine photos.
To round out her milestone portraits, we also photographed Sage indoors with a more classic setup. The wooden chair and her little stuffed animals added a timeless touch, and those images will be ones her family can treasure for years. Milestone sessions like this are such a wonderful way to freeze this fleeting stage of babyhood. At one year old, babies are starting to take their first steps, developing their personalities, and their smiles light up every photo.
