Uriah was 19 days old during his newborn session, and he couldn’t have been more perfect. While most newborn sessions happen a little earlier, he reminded us that even at nearly three weeks, there’s still so much magic to capture. He had just the right mix of sleepiness and calm alertness, which gave us a beautiful variety of moments — from those dreamy posed shots to soft, soulful expressions.
His session was styled in warm, cozy neutrals with soft textures that highlighted his delicate features. We wrapped him in gentle earth-toned fabrics and posed him in timeless setups that focused on the details: tiny toes, curled fingers, and those peaceful newborn lips. There’s something so calming about photographing a baby at this stage — they’re just starting to grow and stretch, but still love being snug and swaddled.
Uriah looked especially sweet in the basket setups, where the textures and tones worked beautifully with his skin and dark hair. I loved how relaxed he was in each pose — whether curled up on a blanket or tucked gently into a wrap. His sleepy expressions and soft little movements made it easy to take our time and create a gallery full of tender, lasting moments.
Even though the typical sweet spot for newborn photos is between 7–14 days, Uriah’s session was proof that 19 days can still be a wonderful time to capture your baby just as they are — fresh, tiny, and still so new to the world.
