This maternity session with Karla was such a joy to photograph. At 33 weeks along, she was absolutely glowing as she embraced the final weeks of her pregnancy. Karla and her partner are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby girl, and it was wonderful to capture this special time in their lives. We began the session in the studio, where the lighting perfectly highlighted Karla’s beautiful baby bump. She wore a stunning, flowing gown that added an ethereal touch to the photos, giving them a timeless quality. Karla’s natural grace and elegance shone through in every shot, making it easy to see how excited she is to meet her little one. Her partner also joined in for some of the photos, and the love and anticipation between them was palpable. These images will undoubtedly become treasured memories as they look back on this time of waiting and dreaming about their daughter. Given the number of incredible images we captured, we’ve decided to split this session into two blog posts. This first post features the studio session, while the next will showcase our outdoor session, where Karla’s maternity glow was bathed in natural light. I’m so honored to be part of Karla’s journey into motherhood and can’t wait to meet their baby girl when I photograph her newborn session in just a few weeks.
