There’s something magical about photographing a newborn, especially when they’re as precious as Baby Lily. At just 19 days old, Lily was an absolute dream during her session at my Lodi studio. From the soft purple and pink tones to the delicate floral headbands, every detail highlighted just how peaceful and sweet she is.
Lily settled into each pose so effortlessly, whether it was the classic froggy pose (a personal favorite!) or nestled in the cozy floral basket. Her soft, sleepy expressions and the little curls of her tiny fingers were heart-melting. The soft pastel hues and earthy floral tones created such a natural, warm vibe, perfectly complementing her delicate features.
One of the highlights of the session was seeing Lily’s sweet little smiles as she drifted off to sleep. There’s nothing quite like those fleeting newborn moments, and I’m so grateful to have captured them for Lily’s family to cherish forever.
It’s incredible how quickly these early days pass. Capturing newborn photos during the first two to three weeks is ideal because babies are still sleepy and easy to pose. Lily was so calm and relaxed throughout the session, which made it even more special. The cozy studio environment and gentle posing help ensure babies feel comfortable and secure.
If you’re thinking about booking a newborn session, it’s best to schedule while you’re still pregnant to secure a spot. My Lodi studio is set up for comfort and warmth, creating the perfect environment for a relaxed, stress-free session.
