Lillian was pure perfection during her newborn session at just 13 days old. She slept so peacefully through each setup, making it easy to capture those sweet, fleeting newborn moments. The soft purple tones and delicate floral headbands complemented her perfectly, creating a calm and cozy vibe throughout the session.
One of the most special moments was when Lillian curled up in the froggy pose — such a classic and timeless shot. Her little fingers and toes, delicate eyelashes, and soft baby cheeks were absolutely precious. The cozy blankets and textured wraps helped her feel secure and relaxed, which made posing so much smoother.
The floral basket setup was another highlight. Surrounded by soft blooms and earthy tones, Lillian looked like a little garden fairy. Her peaceful expressions and those tiny sleepy smiles made this session even more magical. It’s incredible how much personality can shine through even at just 13 days old.
What made this session even more special was how calm and content Lillian was. Some babies can be a bit unsettled during their session, but Lillian was relaxed and comfortable the whole time. The warm, cozy atmosphere in my studio helps babies settle in, and the gentle posing process ensures they feel safe and secure.
Newborn sessions are best scheduled during the first two to three weeks while babies are still sleepy and easy to pose. These early moments are so fleeting — it’s incredible how quickly babies grow and change in those first few weeks. Capturing these precious details ensures families have beautiful memories to look back on for years to come.
