Emilia was an absolute angel during her newborn session at just 4 weeks old. Even at a slightly older age for a newborn session, she settled beautifully into each pose, giving us so many sweet and peaceful moments to capture. The soft purples, creams, and earthy tones worked perfectly with her delicate features and created a soft, timeless feel throughout the session.
One of the standout moments was Emilia’s perfect froggy pose — a challenging but beautiful shot that showcased her peaceful expression and tiny hands gently resting under her chin. Her little fingers and toes were absolutely precious, and those sweet sleepy smiles melted my heart.
We also did a cozy setup with Emilia wrapped in soft fabrics and surrounded by dried florals in warm neutral tones. This created such a dreamy and natural vibe, highlighting her sweet, delicate features. The moon-themed setup was another highlight, with Emilia curled up on a soft cloud-like surface, looking like a little star in the night sky.
At 4 weeks old, babies are usually more alert and harder to settle, but Emilia was so calm and comfortable throughout the session. It’s always amazing how each baby has their own little personality, even at such a young age. The warm and cozy atmosphere in my studio helped Emilia relax, and her parents were thrilled with how smoothly the session went.
If you’re thinking about booking a newborn session, the ideal time is within the first two to three weeks, but sessions with slightly older babies can still capture these beautiful early moments.
