Logan was full of personality during his 6-week-old newborn session, and I loved every second of capturing his sweet expressions. At this age, babies are often more awake and expressive, and Logan gave us such a great mix of sleepy snuggles and wide-eyed curiosity. He even threw in a few yawns and smiles — the kind of real-life baby moments that make these sessions so special.
We used a calm, neutral palette with soft greys and natural textures to keep the focus on Logan’s sweet face and tiny details. Whether he was swaddled up with his little teddy or snuggled in a cozy wool wrap, he looked absolutely perfect. I especially loved the shots of him peeking out with those bright eyes and tiny fists raised in the air — such a classic six-week-old move.
One of the standout moments was the dreamy setup with Logan wrapped in layers of soft textures, tucked into a wooden crate with earthy tones. He settled beautifully for those sleepy poses, and then surprised us with a wide yawn and the sweetest eye contact shortly after.
Even though six weeks is a bit past the typical “sleepy newborn” stage, it’s still such a wonderful age to document. Logan’s session proves that it’s never too late to capture these memories — from tiny toes to the first glimpses of personality. Every baby is different, and Logan’s relaxed and expressive nature made for a session full of variety and charm.
