Cristobal was 4 weeks old during his newborn session, and he gave us such a perfect blend of alert curiosity and sweet sleepiness. At this age, babies often start waking up a bit more, and Cristobal made the most of it — giving us those wide-eyed looks that melt your heart and then drifting off just long enough to capture those peaceful, classic newborn poses.
His full head of dark hair, long lashes, and expressive little features made every angle a dream to photograph. We styled his session in warm, earthy tones with cozy textures that worked beautifully with his skin and hair. One of my favorite setups featured Cristobal wrapped in a soft knit and tucked into a round basket, holding a tiny stuffed animal. That shot felt especially tender and timeless — a moment of calm in the whirlwind of those early baby days.
Even though four weeks is a bit beyond the typical 7–14 day window for newborn photography, Cristobal reminded us that it’s still possible to capture stunning, meaningful images. With a little extra patience and the right studio environment, babies at this age can still be wrapped, posed, and photographed beautifully.
These sessions are not just about the poses — they’re about preserving the details that fade so fast. Tiny toes, sleepy stretches, quiet awake moments — every part of your baby’s personality is beginning to shine, and Cristobal’s gallery is full of that magic.
