Vernika’s newborn session at just a few weeks old was absolutely dreamy. She was such a calm, sleepy baby and settled so naturally into every pose we planned. Her delicate features, long lashes, and soft expressions paired beautifully with the warm pink and cream color palette we styled the session around.
We began with classic wrapped poses on cozy textures and added floral details to enhance the softness of the entire gallery. Vernika looked especially angelic in the floral basket setup, swaddled in blush tones and surrounded by earthy greenery and soft peach blooms. It’s always incredible how these tiny setups can showcase just how fresh and small a newborn is in those early days.
She also gave us a few sweet little smiles while napping — always a treat to catch on camera! Her session included a variety of looks, from soft knits and neutral wraps to more styled setups with bonnets, headbands, and dainty props. One of my favorite shots was of her snoozing in a vintage-inspired rattan bed with cascading white florals. It felt classic and whimsical all at once.
Newborn sessions like Vernika’s are best scheduled during the first two to three weeks of life when babies are still naturally sleepy and easier to pose. These early portraits are more than just beautiful photos — they’re a way to remember how tiny and peaceful your baby was in those fleeting first days.
